Study of soil water movement in the Kanto loam formation using environmental tritium as a tracer

The study has clarified the soil water movement in unsaturated zone of the Kanto Loam formation, the volcanic ash layer, using environmental tritium as a tracer. The study area, the Sagamihara Upland is located in the central part of Kanagawa Prefecture, 40 km to the southwest of Tokyo. To explain the results, the mathematical model named Displacement Flow Model was presented. - (SGA)
