Topographic surveys are carried out to elucidate the characteristics of topographic changes in the foreshore zone of two study sites on the Kashima Coast, Ibaraki Prefecture (Kanto). Three types of topographic change were put in order and a three-dimensional beach model in the foreshore zone on sandy beaches was constructed. - (SGA)
