Geomorphological development of the bottoms off Osterlen, southernmost Sweden.

Description :
The subject is approached with the help of a sediment transport model, using field data of the process agencies as input. The preparatory work included the mapping and geomorphological interpretation of the area. 450 square kilometres have been mapped with side-scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler, and a sonar map at a scale of 1 : 50 000 is presented. To explain the glacial and deglaciation morphology off Osterlen, it is suggested that the last glaciation has been with an ice shelf.
