Description :
A geomorphological survey of flood-plain microforms was supplemented with information on land use, sediments and groundwater conditions, primarily obtained from satellite image interpretation. In authors' opinion the Slovak-Hungarian Barrage System would involve ecological damage as it would reduce the availability of water for plant life over large surfaces, even with the projected recharge system installed. - (DLO), (JS)
