In the following section it shall be described to what extent external constraints and internal decision-making processes of the companies involved in both sectors were interrelated to each other, further it shall be demonstrated to what extent the development in local mining, being in the hands of only one publicly owned company, differs from that of the iron and steel industry, dominated by several privately owned companies. - (L'A.).
