At the conclusions of the investigations made in view to work out the last geological maps at 1/50.000 scale in the Vosges (sheets Bruyeres, Epinal) one can confirm that the middle western Vosges were affected by at least three successive glaciations. The boundaries of each, mainly those of the third one, are classified in the Moselle, Ognon and Moselotte valleys, as well as in the Le Tholy area. - (l'A.).
